HOP! airline, a subsidiary of the Air France Group, is looking for an Avionics Support Engineer (F/H) based at our Clermont-Ferrand (63) site, on a permanent contract, starting date as soon as possible.
Our Engineering department plays a crucial role in maintaining airworthiness and preventing the recurrence of technical issues. As an Avionics Support Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of avionics systems on our aircraft. This role requires strict adherence to approved documentation and regulatory requirements, working under the oversight of aviation authorities.
Your main tasks will be to :
1. Aircraft and equipments Airworthiness management
- Take part to the maintenance programs effectiveness assessment and propose amendments
- Analyse reliability reports (aircraft and equipments)
- Adapt the maintenance program based on the technical assessment and the operating characteristics of the fleet
- Analyse and record all AD and ensure their application within the prescribed time frame
- Assess optional modifications (SB/SL) on aircraft and equipments
- Issue technical information notes, task cards, experience sheets, and ensure their updates
- Monitor equipments and aircraft standard
- Regularly check airworthiness data
- Maintain contact with manufacturers, suppliers, equipments manufacturers, or any other relevant external entities, particularly after the notification of any defect that may affect the airworthiness of an aircraft
- Establish incident reports in response to Air Safety Reports or intervention reports (CRIT) and ensure their follow-up
2. Technical Expert in your scope of activity
- Perform technical assessments
- Analyse and participate in troubleshooting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical requests from MCC, MCC back office, Maintenance staff, logistics and ensure timely and adequate responses
- Ensure verification and control of Engineering Technical Instructions: data consistency, relevance of technical and economic conclusions, validation of ROI
- Be the main contact for handling quotes or out-of-contract parts
- Ensure assessments during scrap reviews on all types of products
- Participate in the budget development and monitoring with the Engineering Manager
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager in the development of removal plans for all types of major components.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager in the development of all types of modification plans
3. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in the analysis of Quality escapes and take into account the necessary corrective measures
- Lead/participate in the search for continuous improvement in Engineering and related services
4. Participate in achieving the objectives of the Maintenance Department
- Safety objectives (SMS)
- Techno-economic objectives
Required professional profile
Higher Education Degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) with a specialty in Aeronautics or equivalent through acquired experience
Over 3 years in the aeronautics sector, successful experience in Engineering, Technical Follow-Up, Technical Support functions
You are familiar with aeronautical regulations (Part CAMO, Part 145, Part 21) and have technical knowledge of aeronautics (structure/engines/systems, etc.).
Rigorous and autonomous, you know how to work as part of a team. Your ability to analyze, synthesize and anticipate is recognized.
Langue(s) :English (fluent), French is an asset
Logiciel(s) : Good command of computer tools (AMOS, Office Suite, Generative AI)
