We are really excited about our future redesigned cabins with Air France brand codes and new seats!
Designed by french manufacturer Expliseat and the mobility designer Andrea Mocellin, the TiSeat 2X seat displayed at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg (Germany) in May will be soon installed on our Embraer 190 fleet.
The TiSeat 2X has an ultra-light all-carbon and titanium structure. It incorporates recycled components and as little plastic as possible. It will be 30% lighter than the current model, fitted with leather and ergonomic foam for added comfort and sustainability.
Each seat has a reclining backrest, a 4-way adjustable headrest (height-adjustable with adjustable wings) and removable armrests
It has a retractable tray table, USB A and C ports, a coat hook and a storage space.
There’s also a PED holder for a smartphone or tablet.
The seats will be manufactured in Angers, France, and the refurbishment process will begin at our HOP! maintenance site in Clermont-Ferrand after summer 2024.
Our Embraers 190 will be equipped with 110 new seats arranged in a 2-2 configuration and will integrate Air France’s cabin decor and colours.
The first flights equipped with the TiSeat 2X seat will begin in autumn 2024 and will offer a new passenger experience!.
